About the Croi

The Croí Festival is a celebration of the spiritual, artistic, healthy, and beautiful aspects of life in Donegal and beyond. "Croí," meaning "heart" in Irish, signifies the festival's focus on heartfelt experiences and connections.

Set along the serene shores of Lough Foyle, the festival offers a tranquil retreat from the world's hustle and bustle. As you journey through the Tunnel of Trees into Moville, and continue past the historic Greencastle Castle to the Shrove Lighthouse and its pristine beach, you'll encounter landscapes that inspire peace, harmony, friendship, and love.

The festival's location is rich in natural beauty and cultural heritage. The coastline, with its lush greenery and dramatic seascapes, provides a perfect backdrop for reflection and rejuvenation. The local community, known for their warmth and hospitality, adds to the welcoming atmosphere.

Whether it's the calming waters of the lough, the invigorating sea air, the fresh local produce, or the unique geological features like the greenschist bedrock, every element contributes to a holistic experience that nourishes the body and soul.

Join us at the Croí Festival to relax, enjoy, learn, and find peace within yourself and the enchanting surroundings of Donegal.
